Nicola has been working as a Vocal and Choral Specialist since she left University in 2008. At present, she is an independent vocal animateur and choral director and a Lead teacher of Music and Modern Foreign Languages at a Special Needs Secondary School.
Nicola trained as a Choral Conductor with ‘Sing for Pleasure’ at the age of 18 and now has the pleasure of conducting five choirs.
Her work includes:
- conducting massed groups of children
- directing choirs
- running INSET courses for teachers
- one-to-one singing tuition
- choral workshops for choirs
- masterclasses with soloists and choirs
- wedding singer and performer
- adjudicating choral competitions and festivals
